Selmer (London) "Sterling Super" Trombone

Hello! Thought I have no skill at playing brass instruments (beginner tunes on a trombone is about my limit) I can't resist acquiring them on occasion, if they appear cheaply on Ebay. Recently, I obtained one which looks nice after restoration (I'll post pictures when I'm allowed to).

As far as I can tell from what I have found so far, this is a stencil horn sold by Selmer UK and is in fact a Hüttl "Super Deluxe" with the Selmer name on it instead.

I've seen a few trumpets for sale with similar branding, but no other trombones. Information on Hüttl is a little unclear as well.
It would be interesting to know if any more information can be had on this instrument, e.g. when it was made. The serial number appears to be 6661, stamped on slide and bell section.

ETA: This post (https://www.saxophonepeople.com/i-own-a-selmer-pennsylvania-tenor-sax.-the-stamp...; describes a stencil saxophone imported by Selmer UK, similar vintage, also a 4-digit serial number. I wonder whether Selmer stamped them on after receipt of the imported instruments, or if the original manufacturers added the serial numbers.

My attention was drawn to an advertisement (https://massullomusic.com/products/used-huttl-trombone) by a poster on trombonechat.com (https://trombonechat.com/viewtopic.php?p=198515#p198515).

Other than the different bell engraving this does look like the same thing.

It does seem to share features, doesn't it?

Regarding serial numbers, over history, dealers have both chosen to use their own serial numbers or used the serials of the manufacturer.

However, it is much more common for the serial be designated by the manufacturer .
