Gretsch Commander Trumpet

I recently found a trumpet and on the bell its marked Gretsch Commander, but I cant seem to find any other trumpets that look similar to it. Its lead-pipe fits a cornet mouthpiece but seems that it's a cylindrical bore. It also has two main tuning slides. I had heard from a repair shop in town that they think it is from the 20's-30's. Any extra information on this thing would be greatly appreciated. Thank you All.

Some of the Gretsch Commanders had unusual wraps [often made by Holton], and some were made to mimic other models [I have one in show that LARPs as a King Liberty - it even has an X-brace and tri-point piston guides in similar fashion].  A link to pictures/posted here if possible, serial number, etc will help with more identification

That looks to me to be a cornet.

Holton-made stencil cornet - might be based on the 1930s Collegiate cornet
