I need help...

I rescued this brass horn. I think it is an alto horn or a baritone. The only engraving is that it was made in Italy. Also, it is engraved BEAUMONT above a pretty engraving of a floral sort and a blank scroll. His is on the bell. I would post a picture but not sure how. Is there anyone who could help me identify this horn?

If you care to send images to Kenton@horn-u-copia.net  I will will make a composite and add it to the database.  I prefer both profiles, and the logo.

Just glanced at the pictures, I"ll post it tomorrow.  But, it looks like a alto horn designed for marching, 20th century, European made.

This is a Beaumont Alto horn

Beaumont was a tradename used by Meisel.  Here is our page on him.

He was a dealer not a maker.  He would have been importing instruments, and putting his label on them.  And, it is quite probably that he purchased them from different makers.
