I have two horns I can't find anything about: a ca Rudolph low Eb flugelhorn, and a ca 1900 low Eb/F trumpet made by Jan Dvorak.

One thing I'd like to know is whether Jan was related to Antonin. They lived at the same time.

Jan Dvorak is a name used by Karl Knilling.  Thing is, Knilling makes string instruments.  Maybe they made brass at one time.  I know that Migma, which used to produce a lot of brass instruments, now mostly makes instruments other than brass... And Migma is more of a working group representing makers, but same idea, shifts in popularity bring shifts in production.
