Howard J. Wallace (1886-1955) was a long time employee of Lyon & Healy when he joined the newly formed Tom Brown Music Co., Chicago, in 1922 as secretary and instrument salesman. They were at #17 West Lake St. with Tom Brown president and George Bundy (president of H&A Selmer) as VP. In 1928 they moved to #315 South Wabash and were still there in 1936. Before 1950 Howard formed the Wallace Music House in Chicago and a few brass instruments have been found with this name
