Royalist instruments were sold by the Royal Music Center north of Detroit. This was started by Herbert Couf (1920-2011) after leaving the Detroit Symphony Orchestra as priciple clarinetist. He later became the vice-president of Armstrong Company. These are all stencil horns with his saxophones being made by Keilwerth and clarinets by Artley. The brass may vary as to their origins.
