Horn-u-Copia's Display of Makers

Gustav Pruefer (1861-1951) came from Germany in 1881 Gustav Pruefer started a music store in Providence RI and from 1893 he was a woodwind maker. He started the Pruefer Woodwind Co. in Providence in 1906. He also imported woodwinds made by Moennig of Germany.
