Persy Logo Joseph Persy opened his own factory Persy instruments at 39 Boulevard Baudouin in Bruxelles, where he also sold string instruments. In 1907, he won the grand prize at the exposition for Arts and Crafts in Brussels. He was the leading provider of instruments to the army and the conservatory. He used the trade name Le Triomphe. His name and logo stayed on the instruments of his successors, Louis Billen, Max Moyens, Robert Putzeys and Pierre van Adorp, Pierre and Auguste van Adorp and Henri Belang (1937-1985) Henri Belang joined the Persy firm in 1937, and after 9 years with the firm he was in charge. In the 1950's he opened a Clarinet factory in the Paris region. Production included the whole range of brass instruments. 1
