Horn-u-Copia's Display of Makers

Moeremans founded his musical instrument factory in Ghent and received various awards for brass instruments. He enjoyed a worldwide recognition. He made instruments for Belgium, The Netherlands, Northern France and even the United States.

Around 1906, he bought a building located on the Kleine Huidevettershoek where, in addition to the brass musical instruments, he manufactured pianos.

In 1908, he stopped making other instruments. So horns that are younger than 1908 are stencils.

The shop remained in the Vlaanderenstraat until 1992.
