Janda musical instrument manufacture and repair business was founded in 1922. The company was located first on Masaryk Square, and later was moved to the 54 National Avenue. Janda was an active musician, playing the violin, bass and other instruments. The company expanded, and worked up to 17 employees.
His musical instruments sold well not only in Czechoslovakia but also in Switzerland, Yugoslavia and other Balkan states. The company ceased operation in 1951.
