Horn-u-Copia's Display of Makers

Apparently, there are two Hirsbrunner companies in Switzerland: Fritz Hirsbrunner Sumiswald, and G. Hirsbrunner Aarau.

Hansulrich Hirsbrunner (1811 - 1885) set up his factory in 1847, the shop passedon on to Friedrich Hirsbrunner (1841 - 1927), and then to Arnold Hirsbrunner (1869 - 1940). Under his management, Arnold introduced electrical manufacturing machines to the firm. Lastly, the firm was taken over by Fritz Hirsbrunner (1894 - 1983). He developed techiniques to seamlessly draw conical, bent tubes.

It appears that the Crown Model is associated with Fritz Hirsbrunner
