The Keilwerth workshop was opened in Graslitz by Johann Keilwerth in 1920 as primarily a saxophone maker. His son Julius joined and they expanded into making brass winds. Expropriated in 1945. Afterwards, Julius went to Nauheim, and grandson Richard went to Gelnhausen/Hessen.
They possibly supplied instruments to New York Band Instrument Co under the name of Toneking.1
