Alternative dates: (1851-1922)
Established in St. Petersburg, but set up stores in a variety of cities.
The company made brass instruments from 1880 on, with branches in Leipzig, London and Riga.
The company also manufactured string instruments and published sheet music. Established a factory in Markneukirchen in 1918. The Russian part of the company was nationalized by the Soviets in 1919.
Moved to Leipzig in 1929.
