Antonio Bottali was the son in law of Ferdinando Roth and took over the factory at Roths death in 1898.
Bottali and his brother bought also the Pelitti factory in the ealry 20th cent. F.lli A.M Bottali was the larger manufactorer of brasswind in Italy between the two World Wars.
Fratelli A. M. Bottali was a foreman and successor to Ferdinando Roth in 1898. Used tradename Rothe and Bottali, by 1912 as S & M Bottali. Taken over by Maino & Orsi and by 1926 Bottali-Roth-Pilitti. Closed in 1939. Roth invented the Rothophones.
