Anton Pini (1908 - 1983) was born Bruttisellen.
He trained at Robert Theodor, Suhr Switserland, and then worked at Hug.
In 1942 he took over the Firm from Emil Egli in Thal and he moved it to Heerbrugg. He started working as musical Director for many Bands and in his honor, a March was composed by Albert Grosser the ‘Anton Pini Marsch’. Because illness, he had to retire from his business. He was succeeded by Walter Egloff, and then by a former pupil of Pini, Ernst Walt who moved the firm to Altstatten.
