1930: William Peate is in Los Angeles apparently helping his son William F. Peate start a music business
1937: Peates is in bankruptcy proceedings
1938: Peates is purchased by Harry M. Williams, now at #49 Franklin Square
1958: Peates Music House incorporates under Paul Williams
1962: Peates now located at #52 Franklin Square
2004: store closes
