The Moritz company can trace its beginnings back to 1808 in Berlin. In 1833, in collaboration with Wieprecht, they devised the Berliner Pumpen valve. The company created many new designs and instruments. Company ceased operations in 1955. It was a small factory, never employing more than 20 people.
