The Maison Raoux was founded in Paris and produced from 1685 In 1857, J.C.Labbaye bought the name and production rights. Millereau Logo François Millereau (b.1931-d.1892) lived from 1856 on 29, Rue des trois Bornes. He started his company in 1862 on 6, Passage Chausson and from about 1872 at his home address (29, Rue des trois Bornes).

In 1878, the firm was bought by Millereau. Later Millereau was overtaken by Shoenaers, Francois Millereau started working for Besson in 1861, advertising SAX brass instruments under the Sax license in 1862, moved his own brand to 66 Rue Angouleme in 1879, after he purchased Labbaye. Labbaye had previously purchased Maison Raoux which was founded in Paris and produced from 1685. In 1857. J.C.Labbaye bought the name and production rights. In 1878, the firm was bought by Millereau. Later Millereau was taken over by Shoenaers,

Approx. 1880, the company was located 66, Rue d’Angoulème. In 1895 his son in law Herman Schoenaers bought the company.

1913, the Millereau company moved to 15, Rue Gambay. Paris till about 1938. Henri Selmer bought Millereau in 1930 and used the Millereau brand for 8 years.
