Brass instruments found with ‘Carlin & Lennox’ often are either the ‘Majestic’ or ‘Superior’ models and date to the 1895- c.1910 period. Those with ‘Carlin Music Co.’ date to the c.1911-1937 period. At least one C&L cornet is stamped ‘Austria’ so they probably are all imported stencils.
