British Band Inst Co. Ltd, Edgware, Used Regent as brand.

British Band Instrument Company (BBIC)was an off-shoot of Boosey and Hawkes in the mid 20th century although B&H was reluctant to acknowledge this. The instruments were constructed using the same parts as B&H models. There is some suggestion that the instruments were made or assembled in South Wales in a factory staffed by Italian ex-POWs in the 1940s, but this has yet to be verified. The instruments were intermediate models.
