I saw this one beeing auctioned, but it doesn't really seem like a french horn, albeit a big one. Is it though?

Also, I didn't see an example of this instrument in the gallery for the maker, if admin wants to add it.

It looks like a helicon style bass horn but without valves so limited in how many notes it can play. Never saw one like that before. Perhaps used for adding a simple bass line while marching in a parade? I will have to add that to his product line.

Actually, they are classified as bugles, for that is what they are, bass bugles.  There are a 1/2 dozen or so in the database.
