a customer of mine owns a trombone, it's engravement stating that it's "a Wallace trombone", Williams and Wallace, Los Angeles CALIF (ornia i guess). The bell is completely engraved, more or less qubic pattern. Though it looks a bit as if beeing uncared for some while (say 30 years) it has a perfectly adjusted slide (really unusually light and fast) so I took a piece of cloth and just wiped it for a while and it started to look as if manufactured last wweek...
I found no serial no. but a forum stating that wallace and williams created not more than 500 trombones between 1928 and 1936 befor they split up and earl williams continued his business alone. Is this just another "pieceĀ  of brass" or build later and more or less a mass product or is it possibly an instrument worth to get hold will follow

Here is our page on Williams and Wallace Trombones.   From everything I've read about them, they are highly respected instruments.
