Where does the 1954 date come from?



In 1954, A. R. Huttl moved his factory from Britain to Baiersdorf.  The low serial and early logo put it close to that date, and the British instruments from 1945-53 have a different logo [still A K Huttl, also marked Made in Gt Britain] and milling/machining.
