Hi all, Looking for a Besson trumpet specialist to help locate parts to finish resoration on a late 70's Besson International(B&H made) not Kanstul.
It's rather light weight( a la Benge CG), triggers on ist and 3rd LARGE bore( aprox.  .465- could be  a little more than that), Rear facing 2nd slide with the guard. Underslung water keys, same as Besson 2-20 models( that's the only similarities, any tube  parts from a 2-20 don't fit as they are way too small) Uses valve guides from a B&H Sovereign
Want to know info on possible similar B&H horns( or Besson) to locate suitable donnors for parts, mainly pipes and tubing
I'm certain this could be a great trumpet once repaired.
Any bit  of information welcome by PM
Thank  to all

Guy

If i spent my $ on lessons instead for horns,I'd be a great trumpeter

I believe that there are some Besson parts that are available from a source in England.  Only trouble is, that I think they may only sell to repair services.  You may want to check with your local repair service and see if they have a connection.
