French horns and such

Just saying hi. I'm an old very amateur French horn player.
I joined because I recently bought an even older Van Engelen alto horn and was hoping for some help with mouthpiece selection and historical horn information.

Corrected: I now know it is not an alto, but a Bb baryton or tenor horn.Oops! That's why an alto mouthpiece didn't fit..
